Executive Certificate in Remissioning Program Launches in Fall ‘25

Attendees at a recent webinar hosted by Leland Seminary president Dr. Ken Pruitt got a preview of the new training program in remissioning designed and taught by Leland alum, lead pastor at First Baptist Church Ashland and author of “Remissioning Church: A Field Guide to Bringing Congregations Back to Life,” Rev. Dr. Josh Hayden.

This Executive Certificate in Remissioning program will equip participants with practical, proven tools to lead their congregations through transformational change, fostering resurrection life in both church and community. The one-semester course will begin Octber 16-17 with a two-day intensive, followed by eight online classes/coaching sessions with Josh that will end on December 14th. Final projects will be due on January 31, 2026.
