Rev. Dr. Trisha Miller Manarin married a wonderful man she met while serving as a missionary in Zambia. Her husband, Tim, holds a PhD in African history. They share a love for the continent of Africa and were blessed to live in Uganda with their three children for a little over two years. Dr. Manarin has a Bachelor of Music in Education and Performance from Samford University where she was a ministerial student. Her Master of Divinity is from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Seminary of Eastern University) where she earned awards in Missions and Baptist History. She received her Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Excellence from Wesley Theological Seminary. Her project, Creating More Effective Clergy Teams: A Process for Senior Pastors and Associates to Grow Deeper in Their Call and Their Understanding of Each Other, assisted a number of clergy teams better their ability to minister side-by-side. This process continues to assist clergy teams and has enhanced the understanding of her role as the Director of Supervised Ministry at Leland. Ordained in 1997 by Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA, she enjoys building relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ all around the world! She is an ambassador for the Baptist World Alliance and serves an officer with the North American Baptist Fellowship. Dr. Manarin is the Executive Coordinator for the Mid-Atlantic Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, serving churches in DC, DE, MD, South Central PA, Northern VA, and WV. She has a passion for pastoring pastors and equipping congregations for the ministry God has called them to do! She loves working with students as they work-out their call during Supervised Ministry and beyond.
