About the Alma Hunt Library
The Alma Hunt Library was founded in 1999 when The John Leland Center for Theological Studies received a gift from the late director of the Women’s Missionary Union, Ms. Alma Hunt.
The Alma Hunt Library contains over 10,000 volumes in the subjects of biblical studies, systematic studies, missions, and Baptist studies, which Leland students, local clergy, and students of the Washington Theological Consortium may use for research. If you are not of the Leland institution, please see the Library Policies page to see what is required for borrowing items from The Alma Hunt Library.
The library is open during the following times:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, from 11:00am – 8:00pm
Wednesdays from 11:00am – 7:00pm
