Masters MF4325 Civil Rights Pilgrimage Melson, J. & Manarin, T. Sat-Sat Overnight This class will be held in conjunction with the MACBF Civil Rights Pilgrimage June 15 to June 22, which will include visits to historical civil rights sites in Mongomery & Birmingham, AL and participation in the CBF General Assembly in Birmingham. Projected pilgrimage costs will be approx. $500 + travel and meals, in addition to tuition. Course can be substituted for Ministry Rotation/Advocacy.
Masters MF4906 Full House: Women as Ecumenical Figures Newman, E. Fri/Sat + Fri-Sun 9:00 am – 4:00 pm + TBD @ conf. (opt.) This class will meet June 28-29 at the main campus, and then attendance is recommended at the Baptist International Conference on Theological Education: “TogetHER: Re-imagining and re-reading HERstory in the church,” July 5-7 in Nassau, Bahamas. (Plenary sessions will be available via technology for non-attenders.)
Masters WC3515 Emerging Religious Leaders in Jewish-Christian Dialogue Dapaah, D. + WTC & Rabbinical Faculty Sun-Thurs Overnight retreat Contact Dr. John Lee if interested in participating. Only 1-2 Leland students will be approved to attend. 5 day residential course – no commuters. Class meets Sunday, June 2 – Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Pearlstone Retreat Center in Reisterstown, Maryland. All expenses (meals & accommodations) will be provided. Students pay tuition if taking for credit. 12 – 15 Seminarians & 12 – 15 Rabbinical Students. Additional information can be found at www.icjs.org/erl-icjs
